The Summer Village of Val Quentin is a member of the Tri-Village Regional Sewer Services Commission (TVRSSC), working in partnership with the Summer Village of Sunset Point and the Village of Alberta Beach. Together, the Commission operates and maintains a shared sanitary sewer system that provides reliable wastewater collection and treatment for our communities.
About the System

Oversees daily operation, maintenance, and monitoring of the regional wastewater system.

Manages service connections and sewer permits for residents.

Develops policies and bylaws to ensure safe and efficient system use.
Resident Information

Permits & Connections:
New connections or sewer permits must be arranged through the Village of Alberta Beach Office.-
Permit Fee: $2,500 (subject to change).

Clean-Out Installations:
New sewer connections require a clean-out at the property line extending to ground level. Existing connections may need updates depending on line length or maintenance history. -
Prohibited Items:
Help protect the system by keeping these materials out of your drains:-
Wipes (including those labeled “flushable”)

Oils, fats, and grease

Solids or foreign objects

Chemicals or hazardous substances

What You Can Do

Be mindful of what goes down your drains—only wastewater and toilet paper should enter the system.

Report any sewer issues, backups, or concerns promptly to the TVRSSC maintenance team.

Keep your clean-out accessible for inspections or maintenance.
